put me in coach...I'm ready to play

Guess what??

I am participating in my first giveaway. This is pretty major stuff and I am scared and excited all at the same time. Just kidding, I'm only excited because some lucky dog out there is going to be winning a $215 gift certificate to attend the sporting event of their choice. That right there is bad ass. So enter, at the bottom of my post or at Venus Trapped in Mars...she is hosting this shit, you all should know I am not computer savvy enough to put anything like this together.

In honor of this important first in my life I wanted to tell you all about a few of my prouder moments that happened at one particular sporting event. I hope the lucky winner makes equally poor decisions at the game they attend.

So a few summers ago my former gaybor and I decided to tag along with his co-worker to a baseball game...Tiger's of course.

Thank the good lawd no images were captured the night of our baseball shenanigans, but here we are.

It was not just any ordinary game however as we were getting to the game via a party bus. The bus departed from a local sports bar so we got dropped off at said bar and started the fun in the early afternoon.

After a few drinks in the bar we all boarded the bus and really started hitting the sauce hard. This bus had a keg, and we naturally had a back pack full of liquor.

By the time we were dropped off at the stadium we were good and loaded. Instead of finding our seats gaybor and I headed straight for the closest overpriced ball park bar.

We drank hundreds of dollars worth of beer and jager bombs.  Trust me that is not hard to do at the stadium bars.

It started to rain and we had not yet been to our seats, so we decided why start watching the game now, left the stadium and went to a popular nearby bar. The game went into a rain delay and the bar was getting packed.

Gaybor and I decided to be entrepreneurial and stood at the hostess stand as all the servers were swamped with work. We started charging cover to everyone who walked in. We would pick up the phone on the hostess stand from time to time so we looked official. We also kept drinking.

When we had raised a little money and gotten a few really pissed off people questioning our credibility we decided to make moves.

We left the bar and discovered gaybor's coworker had been calling him over and over, the game was cancelled and the bus was waiting on us.

Naturally we could not locate the bus and were wandering aimlessly until a worker of some sort took pity on us and drove us to the bus in a golf cart.

I then threw up on the side of that bus.

I drank more jager on the ride back to the bar.

I proably had more at the sports bar as well, but if you think I remember that part of the night you are dead wrong my friend.

I would LOVE to win!! I graduated from the University of Alabama and am naturally a huge Alabama fan. My fiancé on the other hand is a lifelong Tennessee fan. Sometimes I really don't know how we manage to make this relationship work. The Tennessee V Alabama game is in Tuscaloosa this year and we both want to be there. That would be the game I buy tickets to go to if I won.
